Jax Kinninger joined the North Central College football coaching staff prior to the 2026 season as a graduate assistant coach working with the nickelbacks.
Kinninger served as the wide receivers coach at Olivet Nazarene University for two seasons. He then coached the running backs during the spring prior to joining the Cardinals. He also worked as the program’s film coordinator from 2024 to 2026, supporting technical development for student-athletes and recruiting prospects in Michigan, Illinois and Hawaii.
Before his time with the Tigers, Kinninger was the assistant wide receivers coach at Alma College (Mich.) during his senior year. He was a three-year captain council member at Alma, where the Scots won the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) in 2022 and 2023. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
A native of Caledonia, Mich., Kinninger is pursuing his master's of business administration at North Central.
