North Central College Cardinals

Riley Aamold ’25 joined the North Central women's wrestling coaching staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2026, after serving as a graduate assistant coach at William Penn University in 2025.

As an undergraduate at North Central, Aamold had a stellar four-year career on the mat for the Cardinals, competing 143 and 145 pounds. She helped lead the women's wrestling program to a national title in 2023, two national runner-up finishes in 2024 and 2025, three Region IV Championships, and three CCIW Championships. Individually,  She was a regional champion and an All-American in 2022 with a sixth-place finish at 143 pounds.

While coaching at William Penn in the 2024-2025 season, Aamold helped the Statesmen to a runner-up team finish at the NAIA National Championships while coaching four individual National Champions and seven All-Americans.

A three-time NWCA Scholar All-American, Aamold graduated in the spring of 2025 from North Central with a degree in environmental science and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.
