North Central College Cardinals

Steve Sellers ‘76 joined the men’s golf coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2012-13 season. In August 2015, he was named the head coach of the men's program. He took over as the head coach of the Cardinals' women's golf program in July 2017. In summer 2021, Sellers elected to step down as head coach but continues to serve both programs as an assistant coach.

Along with his duties at North Central, Sellers serves as a golf instructor at Mill Creek Golf Course in Geneva. An avid coach of many sports, Sellers has been educating and coaching young athletes for more than 35 years. 

Sellers was voted the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Golf Coach of the Year in 2019.

• Earned bachelor's degree from North Central (1976) and master's degree in education from University of Illinois-Chicago (1980)
• Current member of North Central Board of Trustees
