CHICAGO (Nov. 18, 2008) - The North Central College wrestling team won its third straight dual match on Tuesday, posting a 26-15 victory at the University of Chicago.

The Cardinals opened the evening with three straight victories by decision, as Joe Norton (Jr., Carol Stream, Ill./Montini Catholic) won at 125 pounds, Nathan Fitzenreider (Fr., Winfield, Ill./Wheaton North) prevailed at 133, and Jamie DeVine (So., Quincy, Ill./Quincy) came out on top at 141.

Jason Fitzenreider (Jr., West Chicago, Ill./Wheaton North) scored a major-decision win at 149 pounds and Ben Youel (Sr., Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central) won by pin at 165 before Gabe Youel (Jr., Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central) and Vinny Sapienza (Jr., Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) closed out the night with victories by decision at 184 and 197, respectively.

Now 3-2 in dual matches this season, North Central returns to the mat on Saturday, wnen it travels to Mequon, Wis., for the Concordia University Open. The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
