NAPERVILLE, Ill. - North Central sophomores Nick Robinson (Chicago, Ill./Notre Dame) and Micah Yarbrough (Lake Villa, Ill./Grayslake Central) and senior Zach Ernst (Warrenvill, Ill./Wheaton-Warrenville South) were all named All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) second-team selections on Tuesday, May 20.
Robinson, an infielder selection, led the team in runs scored with 30 while compliling a .406 batting average and driving in 21 runs. He also finished the season with a .516 slugging percentage and a .479 on-base percentage.
Yarbrough went 2-0 in 28.2 innings over 10 appearances. His ERA of 2.83 was among the team leaders and he averaged 3.8 strikeouts per game.
Ernst, the team leader in home runs (7) and RBIs (32), snagged his third All-Conference selection with another strong season. He finished with a .365 batting average, a .617 slugging percentage and a .961 fielding percentage.
