The North Central College women's soccer team saw its three-game win streak come to a halt, Wednesday night, falling 7-0 to Wheaton College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match at Joe Bean Stadium. Brittany Bergh and Taryne Lee provided the one-two punch for the homestanding Thunder, each netting a hat trick.

Bergh scored the game's first goal in the ninth minute with Katelyn Kishkunas notching the first of her three assists on the night. Lee accounted for the game's second score in the 14th minute before Bergh struck again with her second goal of the game just 30 seconds later as the home side took a 3-0 advantage into the halftime break.

Val Lelle scored in the 61st minute while Lee tacked on two more goals in a 36 second span in the 67th minute to complete the hat trick. Bergh concluded the scoring in the 77th minute.

The Cardinals fired off four shots in the game with April Kutchinski accounting for all two shots on goal for the visiting side.

Goalkeeper Elise Manzie recorded six saves on the night for North Central while Wheaton's Hillary Barreto and Anna Wilcoxson combined for the shutout.
