TACOMA, Wash. (Mar. 22, 2009) - The North Central College women's lacrosse team fell to 0-2 in its three-game Spring Break schedule on Sunday, as the University of Puget Sound posted a 22-1 victory over the Cardinals.
The undefeated Loggers (6-0) put the pressure on North Central from the opening draw, owning a 43-10 advantage in shots attempted and holding the Cardinals scoreless until 5:58 remained, when Natalie Vivacqua scored her second goal of the season.
Goalkeeper Elise Manzie recorded a season-high 11 saves for North Central.
The Cardinals (0-3) remain in Tacoma for their final Spring Break game on Monday against Linfield College (Ore.) The game is set to begin at 2 p.m. Pacific time.
