Jan. 26, 2010 -- North Central College's Michelle Criscione has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday for her performance over the weekend.

Criscione cleared a personal-best 5 feet 6 1/2 inches in the high jump on Friday at the First Meet Ever hosted at the Al B. Carius Track, winning the event by over five inches. The mark was a provisional qualifying height and is currently the fourth best performance in Division III this season.

The Cardinals claimed the team title at the meet, their second of the season after outscoring Division I University of Illinois-Chicago 186.5 to 128.

The Cardinals return to action next Friday, hosting the NCC Triangular at 4:30 p.m.
