Oct. 16, 2010 - The North Central College women's soccer team dropped to 5-8 overall and 0-4 in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin play on Saturday, dropping a 6-0 decision to 12th-ranked Wheaton College at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

The Thunder (13-2, 3-0 CCIW) needed just under eight minutes to tally the game's first goal, then added two more before the first half ended to carry a 3-0 advantage into the intermission. Two goals in a 25-second span early in the second period put Wheaton firmly in control.

Cardinal goalkeeper Amy Frazzini totaled seven saves on the evening.

The Cardinals travel to Beloit College on Tuesday, with play scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
