Oct 3, 2010-- The North Central College women's soccer team opened up College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play on Sunday afternoon inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium, dropping a 1-0 decision to visiting Millikin University.

Millikin's (7-1-1, 1-0 CCIW) Allison Horne provided the game's lone goal, scoring in the 44th minute off an assist from substitute Brianne Johnson. The Big Blue finished the game with an 11-4 edge in shots, including a 6-3 advantage in shots on target while holding an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.

North Central's (5-5, 0-1 CCIW) Amy Frazzini logged all 90 minutes in goal for the Cardinals, recording five saves while Millikin's Natalie Robertaccio earns the shutout, stopping three shots.

The Cardinals return to action on Saturday, Oct. 9, traveling downstate to Blooomington, Ill. to face Illinois Wesleyan University at 3 p.m.
