Feb. 26, 2010-- The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin released its women's basketball All-Conference team on Friday with North Central College guard Christine Karl landing Third-Team honors.

The junior finished the season seventh in the CCIW in scoring average (13.1 points per game) and fifth in assists per game (3.5) while leading the team in blocks (17). Karl scored in double figures 17 times during the season, including 11 times during conference play. The guard scored 20 or more points on six occasions including a career-high 29-point effort on Jan. 26 on the road at Elmhurst College.

North Central closed out the 2009-2010 season with a 5-20 overall record, including a 2-12 mark within the CCIW.
