CHICAGO (Jan. 4, 2011) - The North Central College wrestling team scored a dominant win in its first outing of the 2011 calendar year on Tuesday, traveling to the University of Chicago and dismantling the Maroons, 37-3.

The Cardinals (3-1) got a victory by decision from Tom Ambrose at 125 pounds to open the competition before Nathan Fitzenreider posted his sixth pin of the season in a victory at 133. Andrew Zobac followed with a win by major decision at 141 and Eric Oyster and Joby Bodi won by decision at 149 and 157, respectively.

Jason Bonham and Greg Schroeder each managed major-decision wins, Bonham at 165 and Schroeder at 174, before Billy Malone won by pin in the first round at 184. Andrew Bradley picked up North Central's final victory of the evening, a major decision at 197.

The Cardinals are idle until Thursday, Jan. 13, when they travel to Augustana College for a dual match against the Vikings.
