Oct. 12, 2011-- The North Central College women's soccer team was unable to find the back of the net on Wednesday night, falling 1-0 to Elmhurst College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

The Cardinals (5-6, 0-3 CCIW) and Bluejays (10-3, 1-2 CCIW) were scoreless after the first 45 minutes of play with visiting Elmhurst enjoying an 8-2 edge in shots.

The Bluejay's Amy Baschen broke up the deadlock in the 56th minute, scoring an unassisted goal in what proved to be the only scoring of the night.

Goalkeeper Amy Frazzini had a busy night in net, logging a season-high 12 saves in 90 minutes of work while her counterpart Maddie Fitzpatrick, turned away a pair of shots,

North Central returns to action on Saturday, taking on Wheaton College at 4:30 p.m. at Joe Bean Stadium in Wheaton, Ill.
