Dec. 20, 2011 - North Central College's Andrew Hiller has been selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Wrestler of the Week for Dec. 12-18.

Hiller defeated Northwestern University's Marcus Shrewsbury in a come-from-behind 7-5 victory at 184 pounds in a dual meet at Northwestern on Friday. The win came during Hiller's first appearance in the varsity lineup against an NCAA Division I opponent.

The 29th-ranked Cardinals have claimed the past three CCIW Wrestler of the Week Awards. Nathan Fitzenreider received the honor the previous two weeks. 

North Central will send athletes to the Midlands Championships at Northwestern on Dec. 29-30 before heading to Springfield, Ill., on Jan. 7-8 for the National Wrestling Coaches Association/Cliff Keen National Duals.
