Mar. 27, 2011 - The North Central College women's lacrosse team suffered its first loss in Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference play on Sunday, losing by a 20-2 count to Adrian College at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
The Cardinals were kept off the scoreboard for the first 14 minutes of the contest while Adrian (7-4, 3-0 MWLC) built a 9-0 lead. The Bulldogs owned a 15-1 advantage at halftime and limited North Central to seven shots on the evening.
Danielle Fiala scored both of the Cardinals' goals, giving her a team-high 15 scores thus far this season. Goalkeeper Sarah Hon saved 11 shots on goal.
The Cardinals (2-3, 1-1 MWLC) are idle until Sunday, Apr. 3, hosting Olivet College (Mich.) at 1 p.m.
