KENOSHA, Wis. (Oct. 12, 2013) – After a scoreless first half, the Carthage College Lady Reds managed two goals in the final 45 minutes to earn a 2-1 victory over the North Central College women's soccer team on Saturday evening.

The Cardinals (2-8-1) outshot Carthage in the first half 6-4, but were unable to get the ball past the Lady Red keeper Abby Alm.

In the 62nd minute, Corinne Brennan knocked in her 11th goal of the season on a pass from Rachel Post to give the home team a 1-0 advantage. Just over six minutes later, Kara Winans banged in a pass from Brennan to increase the lead to 2-0, in favor of the home team.
