Oct. 29, 2014­– The North Central College women's soccer team couldn't find an opening for a goal as they ended their last regular season home game tied ,0-0, against the Millikin University Big Blue.

In the first half, the Cardinals (6-6-3, CCIW 2-3-1) offered a couple shots on goal from midfielder Noelia Reyes and forward Caitlyn Orawiec.  

Goalkeeper Nicki Seiton held back the Big Blue (3-12-2, CCIW 0-5-1) throughout the game as midfielder Morgan Geiser, forward Emily Gaither and forward Caley Michalak pushed additional shots against Millikin's goal, but came up empty.

Entering the first overtime, midfielder Rebecca Sneddon had a huge shot opportunity that was aimed just right of the goal.

Midfielder Hannah Magiera and Orawiec put forth their final efforts offensively for the Cardinals in the final minutes of the second overtime before the clock ran out.

North Central competes in their final regular season game on Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan University with game time slated for 1 p.m.
