The Cardinals (4-3-2, CCIW 1-0) offered shots by forward

Jorie Pelafas and midfielder
Nicholette Fulk, but came up empty.
The Spartans (11-3-0) took an opportunity in the 22
nd minute with a goal by Megan Siepler to put them on the board.
Entering the second half, it was all defense for the teams as numerous corner kicks and shots were offered on both sides. Goalkeeper
Nicki Seiton ended the game with six saves.
Midfielder
Rebecca Sneddon put up the last attempt for the Cardinals as she nailed a hard shot, but just clipped off the goal post in the final minutes of the game.
North Central competes again on Saturday at home against conference competitor North Park University. Game time scheduled at 5 p.m.
