Mar. 11, 2014 – North Central College baseball player Kris Singh has been honored by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW), earning Pitcher of the Week for the week of Mar. 3-9.

The Cardinals opened the season going 3-1 over the weekend, as Singh guided North Central to a doubleheader sweep over Loras College, pitching a seven inning complete game shutout in an 11-0 win in game two.  Singh finished with a career high 12 strikeouts on the afternoon, walking one batter while giving up just a pair of hits.

North Central travels to Wabash College (Ind.) for a trio of games Mar. 15-16.  The Cardinals take on Dominican University, Saturday at 4 pm, followed by Loras College and Wabash College at 10 am and 4 pm, respectively.  All games will be contested at Goodrich Ballpark in Crawfordsville, Ind.  Links to live stats and video are available HERE.
