Emily Gaither extending the lead. She has her sister to thank, as sophomore midfielder
Sarah Gaither was credited with the assist.
The Vikings were fortunate that the margin was not greater, as the Cardinals had several other scoring opportunities to score throughout both halves.
In the 29
th minute, North Central came close to scoring twice and blowing the game out. Junior midfielder Jessica Dejong had her shot blocked, the seconds later senior defender
Nicholette Fulk had a shot that only did not result in a goal because of a difficult save.
Senior goalkeeper
