th and 60
th minute, while senior

Head Coach
Matt Klosterman made 31
substitutions throughout the match, ensuring players were fresh for the last 15 minutes and able to continue to play the up-tempo game style. The strategy proved effective, given how many scoring opportunities it created. As the season continues along, the Cardinals accuracy in front of goal is sure to improve.
Despite a strong showing from the back four, a breakaway goal in the second half secured the victory for the Prarie Foxes. Streaking down the right wing, player Brady Blazek crossed left to Jake Kennedy, setting up the match winning goal. It was a tough break for the Cardinals, given their high press had been effective through much of the match.
The Cardinals look to bounce back and build off the positives from the first two games next on Sep. 7 when they will face Benedictine University (0-1) in Lisle at 7 P.M. Live in game statistics and video can be accessed by clicking
