Nov. 20, 2018 - For the second straight week, a member of the North Central College men's wrestling team has received the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Wrestler of the Week, with junior Ian Mullen receiving the honor Tuesday.

Mullen, a transfer from Harper College, has had a great start to his North Central career, beginning the season 10-1 at 125 through two weeks, with eight pins recorded. Last week, Mullen recorded a 5-0 record with a pin at 125 in North Central's dual win against Augustana College and also won four matches at the Coe College Invitational to win the individual championship at 125 over the weekend, recording four pins throughout the tournament.

The Cardinals (3-0, 1-0 CCIW) take a week off before going back into action Dec. 1, splitting the squad at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitation and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Jim Koch Open.
