2018 CCIW All-Conference Women's Soccer Team

Nov. 6, 2018 – The North Central College women's soccer team landed a pair of players on the all-conference teams, the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced Tuesday.

Junior Lexi Dimovski was named to the first team, becoming the first Cardinal to receive that honor since 2015, while sophomore Allyson Viederis was selected to the second team.

Dimovski, an actuarial science major, recorded nine goals, three assists and 21 points during the season, leading the Cardinals in each category. The forward ranked third in the conference for goals and fourth for points. Dimovski recorded her second career hat trick in North Central's victory over North park. She now sits fifth in program history for career goals with 18.

Viederis, an athletic training major, contributed greatly to the Cardinals' efforts on both sides of the field. Starting all 17 games, she scored a goal against Nebraska Wesleyan and tallied 22 shots on the season, the second most of the team. 

North Central finished the 2018 season with a record of 7-9-1 (3-4-1 CCIW). Adding 10 freshman to the team this year without losing any players to graduation, the team has a recipe for success next year.
