2018 All-CCIW Women's Basketball Teams

Feb. 23, 2018 – For the second time in her career, North Central College senior guard Mayson Whipple was named to the All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) women's basketball team, earning second team honors.
 
Whipple adds the honor to her second team notation in 2016, ranking seventh in the CCIW this season averaging 12.7 points per game in conference play, while ranking fifth averaging 3.7 assists per game.  Her 36 points against Millikin University on Jan. 10 was a single-game high in the conference, while ranking third on the program's single-game record list.
 
Whipple finished her four-year career ranked third all-time in program history with 334 assists, while ranking eighth all-time with 120 made three-point field goals.
 
Illinois Wesleyan University senior guard Rebekah Ehresman was named CCIW Most Outstanding Player, while Wheaton College sophomore forward Hannah Frazier was named Newcomer of the Year.  Mia Smith was named CCIW Coach of the Year for the sixth time after leading Illinois Wesleyan to the regular season conference title.
 
North Central finished the season 5-20, posting a 3-13 record in conference play.
