BELOIT, Wis. (Mar. 28, 2018) - The North Central College women's lacrosse team encountered few obstacles in the path toward its eighth victory of the 2018 campaign on Wednesday, dominating throughout a 20-4 win at Beloit College.

The Cardinals (8-1) established a season high in scoring on just 33 shots, owned a 19-6 advantage in draw controls, and put themselves firmly in command with a run of 13 consecutive goals that consumed nearly half of the game.

With the score tied at 1-1, the Cardinals pulled in front when Addie Records and Mynk Richardson-Clerk scored free-position goals just 17 seconds apart. North Central went on to build its lead up to 13-1 by halftime and was not threatened down the stretch.

Records and Jessica Deetjen led the Cardinals' offensive attack with five goals each, while Richardson-Clerk and Madeline McHugh both scored three times. Deetjen also finished with eight draw controls, while Richardson-Clerk caused three turnovers and Camille Seghesio saved eight shots on goal.

The Cardinals host the University of Northwestern (Minnesota) on Saturday at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. Play is scheduled to get under way at 4:00 p.m.
