Apr. 16, 2018 - For the fifth time this season, the North Central College women's lacrosse program has claimed one of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week awards, as freshman attacker
Addie Records has been named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week for Apr. 9-15. The CCIW announced its most recent Player of the Week honorees on Monday.
Records earned the selection after helping lead the Cardinals to a 13-9 victory at Carthage College and an 18-6 win at Adrian College last week. She contributed two goals and a season-high six assists in Wednesday's victory over Carthage, then put up three goals, two assists and a season-best six ground balls at Adrian on Friday. She is the Cardinals' leader in goals (42) and assists (26) this season.
North Central's five Player of the Week awards are the most by any team in the CCIW this season.
Mynk Richardson-Clerk was picked as the Defensive Player of the Week on Apr. 2, while
Christina Truver has been recognized three times, twice on defense and once on offense.
The Cardinals (12-1, 2-0 CCIW) host conference rival Elmhurst College on Wednesday. Play at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on Naperville Community Television, Channel 17, and
