OSHKOSH, Wis. (Oct. 30, 2019) - With their College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin schedule completed and a spot in the conference playoff clinched, the North Central College women's soccer team played deep into their bench on Wednesday evening in their non-conference finale against University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, ultimately dropping the contest by a 5-1 tally.
The Titans were quick on the draw to begin the contest, scoring three unanswered goals within the first ten minutes of the game, adding a fourth goal in the 21st minute to put Oshkosh up 4-0. The Cardinals held the lead in shots by the half despite the four goal deficit, leading the Titans by a 10-8 margin.

Emma Duncan came on in relief of starting goalkeeper
Angel Biondo, saving four shots through the second 45 minutes of play, only allowing a single goal in the 79th minute of the game. The Cardinals were finally able to break into the scoring column in the 87th minute, with
Aly Crum scoring her eighth goal of the season on an assist from
Allyson Viederis.
The Cardinals out-shot the Titans on the evening 26-14 also leading in shots on goal 12-8.
Biondo received the loss on the evening, her first decision on the year. Leah Hujik saved 11 shots for the Titans in a magnificent game, only allowing the single goal to Crum.
The Cardinals (9-8-1, 5-3 CCIW) now wait to see their final seeding before the CCIWÂ Tournament begins play on Nov. 6.
