CCIW Press Release
May 7, 2019 – In the final installment of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week awards, North Central College baseball senior center fielder
Jeremy Quade earned Hitter of the Week as award by the conference on Tuesday, his first career weekly award.
Quade hit .600 (12-for-20) last week to lead the Cardinals to their fifth-consecutive CCIW regular season championship. Quade led the team with 14 total bases, a .700 slugging percentage and .652 on-base percentage, to go along with four runs scored, five RBI, a pair of walks and a hit by pitch.

Quade has also set new career bench marks in at-bats (729) and stolen bases (68), while his 239 career hits are six shy of Ritter's all-time record. He also ranks second in walks (105), fifth in total bases (288), seventh in sacrifice flies (eight) and 10
th in RBI (110) and hit by pitches (22).
The weekly award is the fifth for North Central this season, as

Charlie Klemm earned Pitcher of the Week honors twice.
North Central finished the regular season with an overall record of 28-11 and will host the CCIW Tournament beginning on Thursday, May 9.
