TERRE HAUTE, IND (Aug. 30, 2019) - The North Central College men's soccer team began their 2019 season by falling to the hands of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
The Fightin' Engineers took the lead early off the foot of Eric Kirby scoring just ten minutes into the game. His teammates Wyatt McKibbon and Sam Alvares were credited with the assist. North Central took three shots in the first half, but could not get one through the hands of Pascal Schlee who recorded four saves. Senior
Marco Soto also saved four shots for the Cardinals.
In the second half, the Cardinals came out firing by taking six shots, but none found the back of the net as Rose-Hulman's defense stayed strong throughout the game.
Defender

The Cardinals play their first home game of the season on Sunday as they welcome Ohio Northern to Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium at 1:00pm.
