Falling to 0-3 in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) play, the North Central College women's volleyball team was overmatched on Wednesday at Millikin University, suffering a 3-0 defeat inside the Griswold Center.

North Central's offensive struggles began early as Millikin jumped out to a 10-3 lead and never looked back en route to a 25-12 first set final, as North Central hit -.069 in the set, tallying just four kills to six errors.

The second set featured much of the same difficulties from the offense.  With the score knotted 7-7, the Cardinals scored just five points the remainder of the set, again hitting negative at -.167, committing nine errors to only three kills.

The Cardinals improved to record seven kills in the third set but Millikin again proved too much to handle, jumping out to a 9-5 lead and closing out the match 25-16.

North Central finished with a season-low 14 kills and -.062 hitting percentage, while Millikin tallied 14 or more kills in each of the three sets.

Reagan Raymer and Kimberly Epker each recorded three kills, while Finnley Smith led the team with four assists and eight digs.  Lexi Barry also tallied eight digs while Kiarah Horn added the lone service aces.
