North Central kept the offense alive in the bottom half of the third inning as Cann singled to start the inning. Following a Cougar error,
Gianna Corban singled, allowing Cann to score, bringing
Andrea Richards to the plate. She singled as
Emily Miller crossed the plate to increase the Cardinal lead to 3-1.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Miller and Stevenson singled to start the inning. Richards hit a double to bring home Miller and advance Stevenson to third base.
