Mar. 9, 2020 - Helping her team to a 3-0 record to last week, North Central College women's lacrosse senior Madeline McHugh has been named the College Conference Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

McHugh scored 12 goals over the course of the three contests, also adding five assists for a total of 17 points, leading the team in all three categories. She also added two ground balls and caused one turnover in the Cardinals three wins against Whitman College, George Fox University, and Pacific University.

This is the senior's first time winning the award and is also the first time the a member of the Cardinals have won the award this season.

The Cardinals (4-0) look to keep rolling on Wednesday as Benedictine University comes to town, with game time set for 4 pm inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. Click HERE for live stats of the contest and HERE for live video.
