Mar. 10, 2021 - The North Central College women's lacrosse team found itself on the short end of a 19-9 result Wednesday evening in the Cardinals' 2021 home debut at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. 

The teams played to a 4-4 standstill after 10 minutes before the Spartans (2-1) outscored the hosts, 9-2, throughout the rest of the first period. Aurora protected its advantage by netting four of the first five goals in the second half as well. 

Grace Steiner was the Cardinals' top scorer with three goals, while Mary Pinkowski finished with five ground balls and five caused turnovers.
