D3baseball.com Top-25 Poll Week 4
Mar. 16, 2021 – Following a 2-1 week, the North Central College baseball team comes in at No.6 this week according to the D3baseball.com Top-25 Poll, released by the organization on Tuesday.
North Central (4-1) suffered its first loss of the season to 17
th-ranked Adrian College on Friday, but bounced back nicely to score wins over Spalding University (Kentucky) and Wabash College (Indiana) on Sunday in the final tune-up before starting College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) play this week.
In the fourth week of the poll, Trinity University (Texas) and California Lutheran University remain in the top two positions, respectively, while Washington University in St. Louis jumps from seventh to third. Chapman University (California) sits still at No. 4 this week, while Babson College (Massachusetts) moved up a spot to round out the top five.
The Cardinals enter the 2021 conference season as five-time defending CCIW regular season champions and are scheduled to travel to Carroll University today, Tuesday, Mar. 16 with first pitch slated for 4 p.m. at Frame Park.
