2021 All-CCIW Womens' Lacrosse Teams

Apr. 28, 2021 - North Central College women's lacrosse student-athlete Mary Pinkowski has been recognized for on-field performance this season with a selection to the 2021 All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Second Team, earning the distinction for the second time in her career. The conference announced this year's honorees on Wednesday.

Pinkowski, a junior defender, was also named to the Second Team in 2019. All-Conference Teams were not selected in 2020 due to the season being shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Pinkowski has started all eight games for the Cardinals this season, ranking third on the team and ninth in the CCIW in ground balls (24) and second on the team and third in the CCIW in caused turnovers (16). Pinkowski currently ranks fifth in North Central's program history in caused turnovers (69).

North Central (2-6, 1-4 CCIW) concludes its 2021 campaign Thursday, hosting Augustana College at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. Play is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Click HERE for live coverage options.
