2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District Baseball Teams

July 1, 2021 –
North Central College baseball's Luke Lamm was awarded for prowess in the classroom and on the field by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday, selected to the NCAA Division III Academic All-District Team.

A first-time honoree and accounting major, Lamm is a three-time Academic All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) selection and was North Central's 2021 Spring Jack Swartz Award recipient.

On the field, Lamm was a fourth team All-America selection by D3baseball.com, while also earning first team All-Region honors by both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).  Lamm was also named CCIW Pitcher of the Year and was selected first team All-CCIW.

Lamm finished the season ranked second in all of NCAA Division III in wins with 11, while his 11-0 record give him the most wins without receiving a loss among all pitchers nationally.  The 11 wins broke North Central's single-season record, while Lamm also set new single-season marks with 92 strikeouts and 87.2 innings pitched. In just two full seasons in a Cardinal uniform, Lamm already ranks seventh in program history with 17 career victories.

The CoSIDA Academic All-District award is the seventh in program history and the fourth in the last four seasons.  Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballots with honorees announced in late July.
