Nov 22, 2022 -  For the second time in his career, Robert Precin of the North Central College men's wrestling team has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Wrestler of the Week after starting the season a perfect 11-0. 

Precin is 1-0 in duals this year and 10-0 in tournaments so far this year. He has won six matches by decision, won three matches by tech. Fall, and has won two matches by fall. So far this season he has faced 1 ranked opponent during the Pointer Open championship match where he won by decision (4-1). Brock Beck from Central College is ranked twelve in the latest polls. 

Precin, a native of Orland Park, Ill. is the reigning NWCA National Champion and is a three-time NWCA All-American while showcasing an 97-2 career record to this point.

North Central hosts Carthage College on Wednesday night inside Gregory Arena, starting at 7:00 PM. The Cardinals are 2-0 against the Firebirds
