ORLANDO, Fla. (Mar. 14, 2022) - Taking on the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis today, the North Central College men's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 victory on Monday at Lake Cane Tennis Center in Orlando.

Javier Suarez Balsera teamed up with Matthew Sengphommachanh for the first time this season and cruised to an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles. The duo of Andy Hinch and Colten Way secured an 8-2 win in the No. 2 doubles spot while Ramon Vilarroig Martinez and Guillermo Gonzalez Fernandez won 8-2 to complete the sweep in doubles action.

Kickin off singles play with a win was Hinch who earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 4 position. Suarez Balsera and Douglas Blomquist each won their respective matches to clinch the victory. Morgan Red, Brian Gambuzza, and Vilarroig Martinez also posted wins in their spots to win the Cardinals' 10th win of the season.

North Central faces Milsaps College and the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse tomorrow to finish out their spring break trip.
