NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Mar. 26, 2022) - Taking on Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon inside of Naperville Tennis Club, the North Central College men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over the Falcons.

Ramon Vilarroig Martinez and Guillermo Gonzalez Fernandez earned an 8-2 win at first doubles while Colten Way and Andy Hinch won 8-3 at the No. 2 spot. To finish the doubles sweep, Morgan Red and Matthew Sengphommachanh defeated CUW's No. 3 doubles team, 8-2.

In singles action, Red secured the first win as he rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Peter Naylor. To clinch the win for North Central, Vilarroig Martinez defeated Logan Snyder 6-0, 6-2. Way bested his opponent at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-0 before Javier Suarez Balsera and Gonzalez Fernandez won in their respective positions. Capping off a perfect 9-0 win, Hinch won 6-1, 6-2 at sixth singles. This marks the third straight 9-0 win for North Central.

The Cardinals open up College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play on April 1st as they take on Millikin University at Fairview Park Tennis Complex in Decatur.
