CCIW Release 

Apr. 26, 2022 - North Central College women's track and field student-athlete Lindsey Novak has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Track Student-Athlete of The Week, grabbing her first CCIW award in the 2022 outdoor season and third time in her career. 

Novak led the Cardinals to first place at the Wheaton College Invitational this past weekend with four first-place finishes. Novak placed first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.52 seconds. She placed first in the 400-meter dash with a personal best time of 57.99 seconds. Both her 4x100-meter relay (47.59 seconds) and 4x400-meter relay (4:01.65 seconds) teams finished in first place as well. 

She is ranked first in the CCIW in the 400-meter dash and 10th in program history. She is also ranked sixth in program history for the 200-meter dash. While her 4x100-meter relay is ranked fourth in program history, first in the CCIW, and seventh in Division III. 

The Cardinals will send a group to the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, this weekend while also competing in the Elmhurst University Invitational, which will be held at Wheaton Friday.
