2022 CoSIDA Academic All-District Baseball Teams

May 11, 2022 - North Central College baseball's Luke Lamm was awarded for his success both in the classroom and on the field by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), selected to the NCAA Division III Academic All-District Team.

This marks Lamm's second straight CoSIDA Academic All-District award as he earned both Academic All-District and All-American honors last season. The accounting major is also a three-time Academic All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) selection and was North Central's 2021 Spring Jack Swartz Award recipient.

On the mound, Lamm is 7-3 in his 11 starts with a 3.64 earned run average and 58 strikeouts on the year. In his career, Lamm has 24 wins, second all-time to teammate Charlie Klemm. He is also sixth in school history with 199 career strikeouts.

Last season, Lamm was named a D3baseball.com Fourth Team All-American selection while being named the CCIW Pitcher of the Year with his 11-0 record, ranking second in the nation for most wins. 

Lamm is the seventh Cardinal to earn a CoSIDA Academic All-District award and is the first in program history to have won the award in two different seasons. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballots with honorees announced in late July.
