Jan. 10, 2023 - For the first time in his career, Bradley Rosen of the North Central College men's wrestling team was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Wrestler of the Week following an impressive performance this past weekend. 

Rosen, a Junior from Woodridge, Ill., wrestled in all five of the Cardinals dual meets this weekend, posting a 4-1 record while defeating the fourth-ranked wrestler in 141-pounds. Rosen defeated Chris Horton by an 11-2 major decision in the Cardinals 25-12 win over No. 24 RIT before upsetting eighth-ranked Gabriel Leo-Esparolini of second-ranked Johnson & Wales 12-9. Rosen defeated No. 4 James Rodriguez by a 4-2 decision in the Cardinals 28-6 win over No. 25 Castleton University before picking up his fourth win against No. 5 Baldwin Wallace by defeating David Panda by a 9-3 decision. 

Rosen and the seventh-ranked Cardinals head to Elmhurst University on Thursday, Jan. 12 to take on the Bluejays in the Battle of the Birds' Nest Trophy. The first whistle is set for 7 pm inside R.A. Faganel Hall.
