Nov 10, 2023 – The North Central College men's wrestling team competed in their first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) competition against Wheaton. They won the dual 47-9 and extending their CCIW win streak goes 43 wins, a streak dating back to the 2017-2018 season.  

The team won 9 of the 10 matches in today's dual.  It started off with Christian Guzman in the 125-weight class winning his match by a 19-4 technical fall. Josh Robison followed it up by winning his match in a 9-5 decision. Kayle Bearson would further the lead by defeating Aidan Laird in a 10-4 technical fall. 

Connor Smetna in the 149-weight class defeated Cale Coppess by fall. Javen Estrada in the next match also quickly won his match in only one minute and and 17  seconds.

Casey Aikman for the 174-weight class won his match with a 17-2 technical fall. Payton Geigner followed up his teammate in the 184-weight class and won by a 16-1 technical fall.
