Whitewater, Wis (Nov 28, 2023) - The North Central College men's wrestling team traveled to University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to face the Warhawks. The Cardinals took the team down with a score of 24-11. 

The first two matches the Cardinals took were won with decisions as Christian Guzman in the 125-weight class match started the day by besting Jalen Dunson in a match that went to a 11-9 decision and Bradley Rosen won the 141-weight class with an 8-4 decision.  

Javen Estrada in the 157-weight class match took down Jermaine Butler with a 23-7 technical fall.  

Casey Aikman in the 174-weight class as well as David Pirozhnik in the 197-weight class took down their opponents in a decision. Aikman won with an 8-4 decision and Pirozhnik won in a 10-7 decision.  

Payton Geigner won the 184-weight match in a 12-3 major decision. 

Robby Bates won the 285-weight class match that went wire to wire. Bates won the match in a 5-2 sudden victory.  

The Cardinals will host the 59th Annual North Central College Invitational on Saturday Dec. 9
