Jan. 27, 2024 – The North Central College men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed in their final regular season meet at the FMC Natatorium, finishing sixth for men's and seventh for women's.

On the women's side, Sydney Sprayberry took 16th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.71 which improved over her previous 2:10.46. In the 50-yard freestyle, Sprayberry took 12th with a 26.35 while Scarlett Schuth followed behind in 14th clocking in at 27.11 and Taylin Lemke took 17th in 27.95 seconds.

For the men's side, in the 400-yard freestyle relay Gavin Sheehan, John DiFoggio, Devin Sheehan, and Jack Newman improved to a 3:54.72 over their previous 4:01.84. Mihir Chandra in the 100-yard breaststroke took 22nd with a time of 1:01.54 and 19th in the 50-yard freestyle in 23.22 seconds.

The Cardinals travel to Kenosha, Wis. to compete in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championship on Jan. 27th at the Pleasant Prairie Rec Plex.
