Women’s Soccer Earns Seven CCIW Selections

2024 All-CCIW Women's Soccer Teams
 
Nov. 1, 2024 – After ending the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) regular season as the second overall seed, the team earned seven selections to the All-CCIW field while earning two student-athlete of the year awards.
 
As a graduate student forward, Elle Sutter earned her second-consecutive offensive student-athlete of the year award. She was also selected for her fourth-consecutive first-team slot, after breaking the program's single-season points record (63) and the career record for assists (28). Throughout the regular season, she led the CCIW across the board including goals (25) and assists (13) to earn five student-athlete of the week awards for offense.
 
Junior defense, Kassandra Salviola earned her second-consecutive defensive student-athlete of the year award and a first-team selection. This comes off another season of anchoring the defense to nine shutout victories throughout the year. She tallied nine goals and four assists during the regular season to earn a defensive student-athlete of the week award.
 
Sarah Andrey, a graduate student forward, was honored with her third first-team selection after scoring twelve goals, seven assists, and thirty-one points throughout the season.

Sophomore midfielder, Madison DeVriendt earned her first-team selection after tallying eight goals, nine assists, and twenty-five points during the regular season.

Gabriella Galvez, a senior midfielder, earned a second-team selection after snagging eight assists and eight points throughout the year.
 
Junior mid-fielder, Yazmin Martinez obtained her second second-team appearance after scoring one goal, five assists, and seven points.

Olivia Mattison, a freshman goalkeeper, earned a second-team nomination after securing the net for the Cardinals for 1,331 minutes, securing forty-eight saves, anchoring six shutout victories, and earning a defensive student-athlete of the week award.

As a graduate student goalkeeper, Jordan Boyd was awarded the CCIW respect award after tallying twenty saves through 379 minutes.
