ABCA/Rawlings Division III All-Region Teams

May 28, 2024 - The American Baseball Coaches Association, along with Rawlings, named their 2024 NCAA Division III baseball All-Region teams with North Central College baseball player Jackson Bland as a Third Team selection in Region 8. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association

Bland, a freshman third baseman from Batavia, Ill., was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin First Year Student-Athlete of the Year. He led the Cardinals in batting average (.373), total bases (81), and on-base percentage (.458). The D3baseball.com Second Team All-Region honoree finished the season with a 30-game reached base safely streak. On the year, Bland tallied 60 hits, 37 RBI, 30 runs, 18 walks, nine doubles, three triples, and two home runs.

Just the third North Central third baseman to earn an ABCA All-Region honor joins Luke Lehnen as the current Cardinals to be recognized by the ABCA.

The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 19. The 2024 ABCA NCAA Div. III Region All-Defensive teams will be announced on Thursday, June 20.
