Jan. 25, 2025 – The North Central College men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted the NCC Invite facing Augustana College, Wheaton College, and Millikin College.

North Central finished in a combined third place with 225 points, following Wheaton College in second (545) and Augustana College in the lead (616).

On the men's side, Mihir Chandra led the Cardinals to their solo event victory in the 100-yard freestyle with a finish of 49.34 seconds. Chandra also narrowly came in third in the 50-yard freestyle finishing in 22.53 seconds just 0.04 seconds from Benjamin Coley in first while taking a second place position in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.75).

Freshman Abigael Sheldon led the women's team with two third place finishes between the 100-yard individual medley (1:07.83) and 100-yard freestyle (59.13). Celina McDaniel led the Cardinals in the 100-yard butterfly clocking in at 1:05.97 for fourth place. In the 100-yard backstroke, Charlotte Kumler finished middle of the pack with a fifth place finish of 1:08.52. Taylor Robinson also marked a fifth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle in an embattled 2:14.30.
