FORT WORTH, Texas (Oct. 26, 2025)- The North Central College women's triathlon team captured its fourth consecutive USA Triathlon West Regional title on Sunday, Oct. 26 in Fort Worth, Texas, with Keeley Mick leading the Cardinals as the top Division III finisher.

The race featured competitors from all divisions and included a 750 meter swim, 20-kilometer bike, and five-kilometer run. North Central competed against Division III programs Millikin University, Willamette University, Central College, and Concordia University Wisconsin. 

Mick secured her first individual victory of the season, crossing the line, clocking one hour, nine minutes, and fifty-nine seconds to finish first among Division III athletes and thirty-fourth overall. 

Bethany Smeed followed close behind with a time of one hour, thirteen minutes, and twenty-one seconds, finishing second in division III and forty-fifth overall.

Jordan Haupt was the next Cardinal to finish, clocking in one hour, seventeen minutes, and fourteen seconds for fourth in division III and sixty-fourth overall. Taylor Robinson finished fifth in division III and sixty-eight overall with a time of one hour, eighteen minutes, and fifty-nine seconds.

The Cardinals finished ninth overall amongst all divisions with 194 points and claimed the Division III team title, as all four North Central competitors earned All-Region honors.

North Central will look to close out its season on Nov. 8 in Tempe, Ariz., at the USA Triathlon National Championships, where the Cardinals aim to capture their sixth Division III national title.
