April 30, 2025 – The North Central College women's lacrosse team's Abby MacKenzie earned the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week award for the third time this season and fourth in her career off her efforts in the final two matchups of the regular season.

Senior midfielder MacKenzie last Wednesday helped the team to a 14-10 victory over Augustana College, earning four goals, one assist, 11 draw controls, and three groundballs. The following Saturday, she led the Cardinals in a near loss to Carthage College (9-5) in the final regular-season matchup, firing three goals, one assist, and securing three groundballs and one caused turnover.

In total, she completed regular-season competition as the CCIW's fourth-best in goals per game (3.40), fifth in points per game (3.93), and sixth in shots per game (6.67).

As the only Cardinal on the roster to earn a CCIW weekly award, she marks the program's 41st conference weekly award since 2012. She has now tallied two offensive and one defensive student-athlete of the week awards this season.
